Carechamp, cogvis and Schrack Seconet combine their expertise and offer an overall solution for more security, time and relief in care.

Falls are a constant danger for 40% of care home residents. Every second person who falls can no longer get up on their own. Every single helpless minute often determines the possible medical consequences. This is precisely where Carechamp and cogvis come in: with intelligent, networked technologies that detect risks at an early stage and react at lightning speed in an emergency.

The integration of cogvis’ contactless 3D sensor technology into Carechamp’s modular ecosystem creates an early warning system that protects instead of just managing. The cogvis companion sensor reliably detects when a person at risk of falling sits up in bed, leaves it or has already fallen. The Carechamp platform triggers a message to the care staff in real time and automatically saves the incident in the care documentation. The special feature: Messages do not reach the staff via an additional app, but directly and seamlessly via the usual systems such as nurse call or telephone system.

Technology that protects – without monitoring

The 3D sensors from cogvis are based on infrared technology and detect movements in real time. Critical situations such as falls, absences or leaving the bed unplanned are automatically detected. The cogvis companion also analyzes movement patterns in the bed and in the room. Based on the level of mobility identified, it detects unrest among residents and alerts them reliably – without the need for video or sound recordings. This ensures that privacy is maintained and the highest data protection standards are met.

Seamless integration into Carechamp

The cogvis companion 2.0 can be fully integrated into the existing infrastructure via the Carechamp platform, including the nurse call system and care software. In combination with other Carechamp modules, it provides care staff with an assistance system that makes everyday care easier and noticeably reduces the workload of nursing staff.

“With the cogvis companion we expand our Carechamp system to a particularly powerful sensor, dhe Falls in care rooms not only reliable reports, but also gives nursing staff the security of knowing that they will be at their patients’ side at the crucial moment. Residents:inside to be.

Rainer Planinc

cogvis-CEO

“Together with Carechamp, we are creating an ecosystem that noticeably relieves the burden on care staff, simplifies processes, increases safety and really improves care. With our contactless 3D sensor technology, we detect critical situations in real time – without a camera or radar, but with maximum precision and full respect for privacy. The deep integration into existing nurse call systems using Carechamp makes alarms clear and prioritizable – turning technology into a reliable companion in everyday life.”

Wolfgang Kern

Schrack Seconet AG-CEO

As an entrepreneur in the Healthtech industry, we have a special responsibility towards society: namely to ensure that Innovation serves the common good. If our systems can be the platform on which different technologies can be combined to form a whole, that makes us really proud!”

Modular platform with vision

Carechamp pursues an open platform approach: it networks smart sensors, nurse call, alarm server and care documentation for more safety, time and relief. Facilities can choose flexibly from various digital modules in order to perfectly map the care requirements for each room. Each module is part of a larger whole – a networked system that noticeably reduces the workload of care staff, simplifies processes and meets the highest standards of safety and humanity.

The cooperation between Carechamp and cogvis brings together two innovative partners who can count on the strong backing of the Schrack Seconet Group. Together, they are pursuing the goal of boldly rethinking care, maximizing safety and giving care staff more freedom for humanity. The result is a partnership that protects residents, strengthens care staff and relieves the burden on the healthcare system – a joint safety network for the care of tomorrow.
