“A friend told me that her father had fallen and died in the night,” recalls CEO and co-founder Christian Pichl. He and his co-founders Markus Jura and Truc Pham realized that sooner or later, most people will have to deal with care – either because relatives need it or because they need it themselves.
But things are not looking good for nursing care: an acute shortage of skilled workers, enormous bureaucracy and a lack of digitalization are not only a burden for nursing staff, but also for those in need of care and their relatives.
The founders formulated the Carechamp mission: a digital ecosystem that can be seamlessly integrated into the existing infrastructure of a care facility and is flexible enough to meet the individual requirements of demand-oriented care.
